Topics

The aim of Agrostat 2018 is to bring together scientists and practitioners interested in the application of statistical methods to food industry and connected domains. The topics to be covered during the conference are the following:

  • SENSOMETRICS
  • CHEMOMETRICS,
  • EXPERIMENTAL DESIGNS,
  • RISK & PROCESS,
  • BIG DATA.

Communications related to other topics in food science, food industry and connected domains are also welcome.

Deadline for abstract submission: February 3, 2018

Notification of acceptance:  February 10, 2018

Guidelines for abstract submission

The communications can be application oriented (solving of a concrete problem using statistical techniques), or methodological (new ways of data analysis).

Communications can be either oral presentations or posters. Participants who wish to present an oral presentation or a poster should submit their abstract (which should not exceed two pages) using this link (https://agrostat.sciencesconf.org/submission/submit). This requires a creation of "scienceconf" account.

You abstract should contain:

      • A title
      • The names of the author(s)
      • Your abstract (maximum 2 pages)
      • Your preference format (oral presentation or poster, the final decision is made by the scientific committee)

Acceptance of communications

Proposed communications will be reviewed by the scientific committee. Decision of acceptance for an oral or poster presentation (based on the abstract) will be notified by February 10, 2018.

Preparation of the communications for AgroStat 2018

Oral presentations

  • Support material for oral presentation must be in English
  • The official languages are English (preferably) and French.
  • Oral presentations during sessions will last 20 minutes including the discussion with the audience.

Posters

  • Posters must be written in English (preferably) or French.
  • Poster format is A0 (vertical/portrait format)
